Who Am I? 22 Random Facts About Me
The bio page of a website is a really nice start to getting to know the author of the site you are visiting. But it doesn’t always give the full picture or tell the whole story.
So today I want to connect with y’all on a more personal level and give you a few more facts about me.
Two-Parter
This post is a two-parter. It goes along with a video on my YouTube channel. On here there will 11 random facts about me and in the video there will be another 11. So to get all 22 facts, check out both!
1. I got baptized on my 19th birthday
I hadn’t wanted to turn 19. I understood why you’d celebrate turning 18, 20, and 21, but 19 seemed boring. But I realized that my 19th birthday was the last one I would have with my family at home before I started college and there was still one thing I wanted to do.
After talking with my pastor, I was able to get a long-awaited bucket list wish fulfilled. This was and still is a very special moment because my dad was the one who baptized me and my dad also baptized my four younger siblings. All on my 19th birthday!
2. I have a big family
I have a gazillion brothers and a gazillion sisters (not really, but there are a lot of them), and I absolutely love having a big family
3. I am a Christian Studies major
Being able to study the Bible in my personal time as well academically is such a privilege and a blessing that I am so thankful for. Majoring in Christian Studies has been such a huge learning experience and I am so glad I picked this major.
I want to one day become a missionary and share the Gospel with the world.
4. I am also a Sociology major
I also love learning about how societies work, so I am also majoring in Sociology. I hope to one day work with kids in various aspects in schools or in churches, and
5. I love having deep conversations
Surface level conversations are kind of hard for me to have, but deep conversations always make me think. I love getting to know people on deeper levels beyond what you see on the surface and deeper conversations allow for deeper relationships to be built.
6. My second favorite drink is lemonade.
Panera Bread and Chick-Fil-A are both my favorite places to get great lemonade (I highly recommend!).

7. I absolutely love Chick-Fil-A and pizza
These are my two favorite foods and I don’t think I could ever get tired of eating either.
8. I am a recovering perfectionist.
I used to say that I was a perfectionist. But I’m not. I no longer try to strive for perfection all the time, but I am so used to my old habits and have to get myself back on the right path by changing
9. I have 4 favorite TV shows:
It’s hard to pick just one favorite TV show, so I picked four: Switched At Birth, Prison Break, Arrow, and Supernatural. All of these shows are absolutely amazing! Are any of you also fans of any of these?
Entertainment is a gift and I am glad I am able to enjoy it.
10. I love wearing jeans
Jeans are one of the best pieces of clothing ever created. They have so many perks. You can wear jeans every day, you can dress them up, you can get them in various colors, they can last for years… and so much more. What’s not to like?
11. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my two favorite holidays.
Both holidays encompass family and that is just so awesome to me! Thanksgiving reminds me to be thankful for the things God has done for me and given to me, and Christmas reminds me to celebrate God sending Jesus to earth to be our Savior. And I get to celebrate all that with my family.
Plus, one of my favorite things to do is to give gifts.
