Blog

Welcome!

THERE ONCE WAS A PERSON

There once was a person who didn’t know how to make her life better.

There once was a person who didn’t know how to forgive herself.

There once was a person who didn’t believe she could live a healthy life.

There once was a person who believed she didn’t deserve the love and kindness of others.

There once was a person who thought the life she saw was the life she got.

I am that person. I am that girl.

HELLO WORLD!

Hi! Welcome to the first blog post of the Life Lived Fully blog!

Thank you for stopping by! I am so happy that you are taking the time to read my very first post.

THE PROBLEM

Too many people are hurting.

Too many people are out there who haven’t heard the Gospel.

Too many people feel they are barely getting by from day to day.

Too many people are forgetting to hope.

Too many people have a story but are too afraid to share it.

JUST LIKE YOU

There are others who think exactly like you.

There are others who feel lost, hopeless and unloved.

There are people out there who have dealt with similar things you have gone through.

There are other people out there just like you.

You are not the only one.

THE WHY

I started blogging because I want to share my story. This is something I have been so afraid of doing. But God has put this on my heart, and I am finally taking action to do what I’ve been called to do.

It’s not easy, but it’s possible.

The why is that there are people out there who think they are alone. They think the life they are living won’t ever get better. There are people out there who think the same thoughts I have thought.

I believe life was meant to be lived, not just survived, and I believe that is absolutely possible for each and every human being, no matter what stage or season of life they may be in right now or in the future.

THE WHAT

The what is what you probably want to know most.

The what is what drives this blog.

The what is what determines if you continue reading this blog or not.

THIS IS A PLACE

I want this to be a place where people can discover the Gospel.

I want this to be a place where my story can help others, and help people know they are not the only ones going through what they are going through.

I want this to be a place where people can share their stories.

I want this to be a place where hurting people can be helped and encouraged.

I want this to be a place to show that life is about thriving not just surviving.

I want to spread the importance of self-love and self-care, and of personal development and mental health.

And I want to remind others to hope.

If that is “the what” you are looking for, or even if it’s not, this is a place for you.

LIFE WAS MEANT FOR MORE

To me, life stands for Livin’ It to the Fullest Everyday.

Life was never meant to be lived by going through the motions. Life was supposed to be lived abundantly.

I’m just an everyday girl trying to live an extraordinary life. Because I believe life was meant for more than just the ordinary.

I HAD TO START SOMEWHERE

I’m a perfectionist, or a recovering perfectionist I should say. I always want everything to be perfect but had to realize if I continued to wait for that to happen, I would never get started.

I had to just start somewhere. I needed to stop putting this off and stick with it.

I started blogging back in January of 2017 with my first blog, but, while I loved writing it, I had a lot of problems with the site and I never thought what I was writing was perfect enough. So, two years later, I am starting over and learning from my past mistakes and continuing to move forward.

THE EXCITEMENT IS REAL

I am so excited to start this journey with y’all. I have tried and failed at this before but giving up isn’t an option.

And no, this isn’t an edited version of my life. I am excited because I get to be real with people and show that it’s ok to do so.

I am a bubbly person, so if I am using a lot of exclamation points, it’s because I am excited, not because I am yelling. (I’m telling ya, the excitement is real.)

This blog is very similar to the one I had before. But this time, I’m doing this without fear, and without the desire to be perfect.

I’m excited to let go, and let God.

THANK YOU

Thank you for taking time to read the Life Lived Fully blog’s very first blog post. Thank you for being one of the firsts to read the start of this journey. It really does mean a lot to me.

There will be more posts to come. I will be talking about things such as Christianity, my testimony, college, my gap year, blogging, and so much more.

This post is written with so much love and I pray it jumps off the page and just gives you a giant hug!

Love,

Priscilla
